Taken from the 67th Street LIRR Overpass, I had come here right after sunset during blue hour. I was inspire by the way the warm yellow glow from the streetlights above reflected off this "love lock", of which quite a few can be found on this bridge. These locks with initials on them are usually put up by couples who place them on bridges to signify that their love is 'locked' to the two of them. I love the way shadows are cast around the chain link fence, and off in the distance you can see the dying purple and orange light of the sun setting on the horizon. To add something more to the scene, I waited for a train to pass so I could get the headlights burring by, and I particularly like the way the train is racing away from the fading sun.
