About the event

Hello Harrisites!

The Phoenix will be hosting a presentation night event next Thursday, March 23rd in the Library right after school. It’s an opportunity to share anything and everything that interests you, whatever skill, topic, interest, or even a recent creative endeavor that you want to talk about, this is the place to make it happen.

If you would like to speak at the event, please fill out this form so we can contact you with more information, it’s going to be ted talk-esque style with google slides.

And if any of these topics interest you and you would like to hear your peers talk about them, please do attend.

We have started a set list so far that includes:

Quinnlan Burke - Why New Jersey represents everything wrong with America

Mr. Olechowski - That time I got in trouble in High School for mixing up “guys” and “gays”

Kiera Chan - Your personality based on your favorite Girl Scout cookies

Ellison Daone - The best places to find unique drawing subjects

Wren Walston - Things that should be edible but aren’t

Popcorn and Pizza will be provided.

We are selling tickets digitally on our website for $2, and we take cash, card, or apple pay. If you are paying cash, please ensure to select the cash option at checkout and pay at the door. All proceeds go towards helping us printing our next edition and funding directly for the publication.

As always, please email us with any questions.

Can’t wait to see everyone there!
